Summarized by durumis AI

  • It's frustrating when clients don't pay on time, especially when you rely on that income as a creative entrepreneur.
  • I'm currently facing this issue with a client who is late on payment and unresponsive to my communication.
  • It's disheartening to put in extra effort for clients and not be compensated fairly.

There comes a time in your creative entrepreneurial journey when you get SCREWED OVER! It doesn’t matter how big or small your business or craft is it happens. Usually it happens around money 💵 As a current entrepreneur working with my clients I am only a few years into this but I have clients who just refuse to pay on time. Even if it is a day late when you enter into a contract it is imperative that your are respectful of the contractors time and creativity (in my case I am a FT Social Media Content Creator) I create and manage content for their social media sites. I only have a few clients but I rely on this money to come in during the time of our contract. Right now one of my clients seems like she ghosted me 😡 she isn’t answering my calls, texts, dm’s or emails at all and her payment is a week late. The other client she never wants to pay on the due date she always pays a day late and late at night the next day maybe two days! I just need to know who else can relate out there? We work hard as entrepreneurs and I know for myself I give more and do extra for my clients without charging but I am about to change that soon - this sucks! As a creative this is how I make my money - I could use some support & encouragement anybody else?
